With 18 years of design and construction experience, Brent's projects have included many noteworthy landmarks in sports and government. His expertise in project management, scheduling, budgeting, negotiations and field supervision is reflected in his work on multiple world-class venues.
Brent served as project manager for the $515 million retractable-roof stadium for the Miami Marlins. This project included a retractable wall located in the outfield, state-of-the-art video displays, modern finishes, and public art throughout the stadium's exterior.
Brent also coordinated the $250 million renovation of the Kansas City Royals' Kaufman Stadium and served as project manager for the St. Louis Cardinals' new Busch Stadium, a 46,000-seat, 1.4 million-square-foot open-air stadium. In addition, Brent has worked on a $200 million courthouse and a $60 million courthouse complex.
Brent joined SC Advisors in 2013 as the project manager for the $200 million renovation of Camping World Stadium (formerly the Florida Citrus Bowl) and led the project to its completion in just ten months. He will now oversee a $25 million further expansion of Camping World Stadium and will continue to advise the City of Orlando on future venue initiatives.
Brent received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois. He and his wife, Kelly, have two young children.
