"I am deeply appreciative of the opportunities my team and I continue to have to develop significant and successful projects in Central Florida. We consider it an honor, and a responsibility, to be called community builders."
Jay Berlinsky is the founder and owner of SC Advisors. Since the late 1980s, he has been a quiet force behind many of Orlando's most prominent development projects. A fifth-generation Central Floridian with over thirty years of real estate development experience, Jay brings a wealth of knowledge, as well as a unique understanding of the Central Florida market, its history and its people. Many of the region's key stakeholders have chosen Jay and his team at SC Advisors to guide them through the development of their projects.
Jay’s proven track record as a client advocate and leader is evidenced by his portfolio of landmark projects that have shaped our city and region. His projects have included SunTrust Tower and CNL Tower II, Campus Crusade for Christ’s World Headquarters, Wycliffe Bible Translators’ World Headquarters, Amway Center, and the Florida Citrus Bowl Reconstruction. His work in public-private ventures also includes his role as advisor to the City of Orlando on the Master Community Venue Plan—a public-private development plan to build Amway Center and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, and near-total demolition and reconstruction of the Florida Citrus Bowl.
Jay looks forward to continuing to build his community and steward the highest levels of project planning and design. SCA’s most recent assignments include two development projects for Dr. Phillips Charities designed to enhance the Central Florida community and generate revenue to further Dr. Phillips’ charitable initiatives, and a master planned community in Southeast Orange County.
Jay holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Baylor University. He lives in the Downtown South community where he and his wife, Kathy, raised their three daughters, Clare, Sarah and Annie.
