In late 2016 Demetree Real Estate Services (DRES) engaged SC Advisors to conduct a feasibility study on one of its key assets, a student housing complex near the University of Central Florida in Orlando. The project included a market study, site analysis with that civil & entitlement reviews, a density and massing study, and financial performance analysis. Upon completion of the study, SC Advisors recommended that the existing housing be replaced with a new master-planned community on the 25 acre site at the corner of Alafaya Trail and University Drive.

DRES accepted the recommendation and in January of 2017 retained SC Advisors as the development advisor for the Collegiate Village project (CVI). The $80 million project will include extensive common area and master plan improvements, state of the art student housing (over 1,000 beds) and 75,000 square footage of renovated and expanded retail space.
