The Steinmetz Hall opens its doors in January 2022 as part of the phase two development of Dr. Phillip’s Performing Arts Center in downtown Orlando. The Arts Center initially opened in November 2014 and commenced phase two of construction in 2017, three years later.
SC Advisors served as Owner Representative for the city of Orlando. This phase features the integration of a new 1,700-seat acoustical hall with the existing 2,100-seat Disney Theater and 600-seat Pugh Theater. The project had a budget of $234 million.
HKS was selected as the project architect, Whiting-Turner as the construction manager, and The Projects Group served as the program manager.
