The the City of Orlando has engaged SC Advisors as its Owner’s Representative for Phase II of the Dr. Phillip’s Performing Arts Center in downtown Orlando. A new 1,700-seat acoustical hall will integrate with the existing 2,100 seat Disney Theater and 600 seat Pugh Theater. The $234 million project should be complete in 34-months.
SCA’s successful performance as Owner’s Representative on the other two major downtown venues, Amway Center and the Citrus Bowl, led to this important assignment. HKS will serve as project architect, Whiting Turner as construction manager and The Projects Group as program manager.
