SC ADVISORS TO OVERSEE PHASE II ADDITION TO DR. PHILLIPS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

The City of Orlando has engaged SC Advisors as its Owner’s Representative for Phase II of Dr. Phillip’s Performing Arts Center in downtown Orlando. A new 1,700-seat acoustical hall will integrate with the existing 2,100-seat Disney Theater and 600-seat Pugh Theater. The $234 million project should be completed in 34 months.

SCA’s successful performance as Owner’s Representative on the other two major downtown venues, Amway Center and the Citrus Bowl, led to this important assignment. HKS will serve as project architect, WhitingTurner as construction manager, and The Projects Group as program manager.
